This day you depart for Moldova. First let’s drive to Tiraspol, now the administrative center of the self-proclaimed Transnistria. Feel the atmosphere of this city stuck back in the USSR times. Look at the buildings of the Soviets, the monument of Suvorov, Central Plaza. Lunch in Tiraspol. Visit the fortress Tighina or formerly called Bendery fortress - an impressive Ottoman fortress, now an important military heritage of Moldova. Late in the afternoon arrive in Chisinau and take a tour with a local guide. National Theater, Opera House, City Hall, The Parliament of Moldova, Cathedral, Arc of Triumph, and Stephan the Great Park. Hotel check-in.
Drive to Orhei Vechi – a unique natural and historical located in a picturesque place. Sightseeing in an Orhei Vechi area, visit a cave monastery and local villages. Lunch at a family guest house with folk performance. Continue with a tour of Cricova - home to one of the largest wine cellars in Moldova. Wine tasting and visit the underground tunnels. Return to Chisinau. In the evening farewell dinner at a traditional local restaurant. Meal is accompanied by traditional instrumental music.
